Town Meeting preview: Bridgewater to consider tax break for grange

Article of note: One article asks voters to approve tax exempt status for the Bridgewater Grange #284 for five years.

Contested races: Voters will elect a Selectboard member to a three-year term from the floor.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed operating budget is $1.8 million, of which $1.5 million is to be raised by taxes. That’s up from the $1.4 million budget voters approved at Town Meeting last year.

When, where and how to vote: Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at 9 a.m. at the Bridgewater Fire Rescue Station, 28 Southgate Loop.
