Edward, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society
“Hi! My name is Edward and I’m a 7-year-old neutered male.
“I lived my whole life with a very nice woman who brought me and some of my friends to Lucy Mackenzie when she became ill. My kitty friends really make me happy. In addition to my old friends, I’ve also made some very good new kitty friends here, too. You’ll often find me snuggling with them.
“I would love to find a quiet home that would have lots of comfy beds for me to sleep in and spots of sunshine for me to enjoy. Toys, treats and lots of petting would be good, too! If you’ve been looking for a new kitty companion, stop in and meet me today.
“One more thing: That’s my friend Dreamer in the back and really, really love her.”
Edward is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.
Wendy, adoptable from Sullivan County Humane Society
“I am 2-year-old Wendy. My elderly mom realized that she could not care for me and my brother, Hook, so decided the best thing to do was to surrender us to the shelter. Hook has been adopted but I am still waiting!
“I am vet checked, spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative.”
Wendy is up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at www.sullivancountyhumanesociety.org and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email sullivanhumane@hotmail.com.
Minchi, adoptable from Upper Valley Humane Society
We can’t figure out why this beautiful girl is still here! Minchi is a sweet 8-year-old tortoiseshell who loves attention. She will happily crawl into your lap for petting and affection.
Minchi enjoys snuggling, but she can also be independent and will entertain herself when you’re not around. She would prefer to be the center of your attention, but lives with other cats at the shelter successfully.
Plus, November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month! Minchi and our other sweet seniors need loving homes.
Minchi is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.
