  • After voting in a mock primary, Mimi Baird, of Woodstock, Vt., votes for issues important to her during a celebration on the passing of the 19th Amendment on June 4, 1919 giving women the right to vote. Women For A Change held the event in Woodstock on June 4, 2019. Baird holds a photograph of her grandmother who was a suffragette and marched in Washington to be given the right to vote.
