In its home opener on Friday night, the Windsor High boys basketball team held off a challenge from neighboring Stevens in a 46-42 victory  at Windsor High School.

Billy Blake and Brady Olmstead combined on a trio of 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to give Windsor (1-0) enough of a cushion to hold on. The Jacks held only a 32-29 lead entering the final period.

Corey Lockwood had a team-high 13 points for Windsor, followed by 11 from Anthony Cook and 10 from Olmstead. Lucas Belisle contributed 12 points for the Cardinals (1-2), and Cullen Neathawk also hit for double figures with 11 points.
