SOUTH ROYALTON — For the third time in seven months, Bethel and Royalton voters rejected a $3.8 million bond to renovate the White River Unified School District’s middle and high schools .
NEW LONDON — In less than 20 minutes Wednesday night, about 400 voters opted to indefinitely postpone a decision on a bond to purchase a property and continue planning for a new police station.

HANOVER — The item that prompted the most discussion at the annual Hanover Town Meeting on Tuesday night was an article brought by petition calling on the town manager and police chief not to enter any agreements with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE.
NEWPORT — In all-day balloting Tuesday, voters approved an $11.1 million budget, three-year contracts for police and public works and reelected two Selecboard incumbents.
Articles of note: One article seeks $2.7 million for a lead service line inventory and repairs. Another article seeks $640,000 for the completion of the Unity Road Water Main Project. There would be no tax impact for either article as repayment of debt from the projects would come from the Water Fund. A petitioned article asks voters whether they will accept Lucinda Circle Way as a town road.

SPRINGFIELD, N.H. — During Saturday’s floor meeting, voters approved a petitioned article calling on state elected officials to reject expansion of taxpayer funding for private education.
DORCHESTER — Voters approved a raise of $8,000 for the town clerk and tax collector position during Town Meeting on Saturday.
PIERMONT — Residents approved a $1.05 million proposal to build a new town office building during Saturday’s Town Meeting at Piermont Village School.
UNITY — Voters easily approved a proposal to withdraw from SAU 6 with Claremont at the annual school meeting on Saturday.
