Liberty Utilities customers in towns from Hanover to Charlestown reported power outages this afternoon, according to the utility’s outage map.
Some stores along Route 12A in West Lebanon closed temporarily, including an ice cream shop and grocery stores.
The Valley News, located on Interchange Drive, lost power at 2:45 p.m. It was restored about 4:30 p.m.
Liberty Utilities tweeted about 3:45 p.m. that “transmission lines that feed the area are out.”
A spokesman told the Valley News in an email shortly after that the company was “working with the transmission provider on a resolution to get power back” as quickly as possible.
