LEBANON — Police removed a student from Lebanon Middle School on Monday after a “threatening list” was found, according to a statement from the Lebanon Police Department.

School administrators were made aware of the list and contacted the district’s school resource officer, police said.

The student’s family was contacted and came to help remove the child from the building, according to a statement from Lebanon Middle School principal Colleen McIntyre.

Police and school official said they do not believe there is an imminent threat to the community, though the investigation is ongoing.

“Any time a student engages in behavior of this kind, a safety plan is implemented before the student is reintroduced to the school community,” the principal said.
