Seamus Doughty, 5, was about to have his first COVID-19 vaccination at a vaccine mobile unit in Thetford, Vt., on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2022. He was with his mother Courtney Doughty and 2 1/2-year-old sister Marin, who'd had her shot a few minutes prior. While the family lives on Chebeague Island in Maine, Courtney Doughty grew up in Thetford and was visiting family in town. When picking up mail at the post office her mother Lyn Yjlaky noticed Rescue Inc., a mobile vaccine service in the elementary school parking lot. (Valley News - Jennifer Hauck) Copyright Valley News.
