LEBANON, NH — Mark S. Hansen, 58, of Lebanon, NH, died at home on March 23, 2020.

Mark was born in Boston on January 1, 1962, to Adolph J. "Art" and Pauline (Johnson) Hansen. The family lived in Brooklyn and Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. Mark graduated from Hastings High School in 1980 and Dartmouth College in 1984. At Dartmouth, Mark was an active member of his church and a co-captain of the Dartmouth Ultimate team. He married Jennifer Hancock, Dartmouth '85, on October 12, 1985, at Rollins Chapel in Hanover. They lived in Hanover, then Lebanon. They raised five children, Rey, Erin, Christopher, Truce, and Amy.

After college, Mark worked as a staff accountant with Gamble & Associates until he started his own firm, Hansen Accounting Services. A CPA and CFP® professional, he was a skilled financial advisor to many. He worked with Eric Wadsworth as Wadsworth-Hansen Financial Planners until receiving a brain cancer diagnosis in late 2018.

In addition to his busy life as husband, father and occasional sports coach, Mark served on the Boards of the Pregnancy Center of the Upper Valley and the Lebanon Library Foundation. He met many volunteer needs in his church, Wellspring Worship Center, and was enthusiastic about serving community dinners and in the food pantry. He played on the local Club Ultimate team, Enough Monkeys, into his early fifties, and was a long-time trail runner on his beloved B-Lot/Landmark trails in Lebanon.

Mark was predeceased by his father. He is survived by his mother and siblings Debbie Tarricone and Craig Hansen, all of Hastings-on Hudson, NY, his wife, five children, one niece, four nephews, and one great-nephew.

A service of remembrance will be held at a later date. Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon, NH, is assisting his family.
