Cornish — It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Rich announces her passing on Aug. 16, 2018. Margaret passed peacefully while surrounded by her family at the age of 85 years.

Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Grant, of 65 years and her children Gayle, Gregg and his wife, Kimberly, and daughter-in-law Nancy. She was preceded in death by her sons Grant and Glenn. Margaret will also be fondly remembered by her nine grandchildren, Grant, Lindsey, Lauren, Rebecca, Justin, Emily, Hadley, Hannah and Liam and great granddaughter Mackenzie.

Margaret was born in Cresson, Pa. At the age of 12, she moved to Chicago, Ill., where at the age of 20 she married her husband, Grant. Together they moved to Cherry Hill, N.J., before finally settling in New Hampshire. Margaret and Grant owned and operated the Pleasant Lake Inn in New London, N.H., for 14 years.

She retired to Cornish, N.H., where she enjoyed cooking and taking care of family and grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to attend a church service in memory of Margaret on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 120 Broad St., in Claremont, N.H.
