FARMINGTON, N.H. — The Stevens High volleyball team has one advantage every other Upper Valley high school program didn’t have on a stormy Wednesday: They could play their match indoors.
Beyond that, the Cardinals couldn’t control.
Farmington handed Stevens a 3-0 loss in an NHIAA Division III contest on Wednesday night. The Tigers (3-2) outpointed the visitors, 25-7, 25-10, 25-6.
“Farmington had very good consistent serves and a very loud cheering section of fans,” Stevens coach Rick Dorcely noted. “A bit of a double whammy. Afterward, we stopped for some pizza. The team was in good spirits as we discussed what we will be working on based on our performance.”
The Cards (0-4) are back in action at Mascenic on Friday.
