WOODSTOCK — When the Oxbow High boys basketball team needed a boost on Thursday night, it turned to Jace Page.

A 6.7-points-per-game producer entering the night, the Oxbow senior guard scored a season-high 22 points as the Olympians pulled out a 61-55 win over Woodstock at Dailey Gym. In a matchup of two teams in need of a victory, the O's (3-6) outscored the Wasps (1-9) in the fourth quarter, 21-15, to gain control of a tied-up contest.

“We need to be more consistent on aggressiveness,” Woodstock coach Tom Avellino said. “We need to play that consistently through all 32 minutes. We take our spots. We don't do it from start to finish, and 6 that hurts us.”

Page’s points complemented a 20-point evening from Bryce Ilsley, while Trevor Moore finished with eight. Harrison Morse paced the Wasps with 20 points, followed by 12 from Ryan Ducharme. Emmet Mahoney and Manny Pacheco each contributed eight.

Woodstock hosts Green Mountain and Oxbow heads to Williamstown on Tuesday.

SHARON — Brennon Crossman led a versatile Proctor attack with 20 points as the Phantoms pulled away late.

Ty Chapin led the Phoenix with 31 points, and Olly Skeet-Browning added 19. Sharon (4-5) stayed with Proctor most of the night, but the visitors’ versatility and occasional defensive breakdowns ultimately made the difference.
