Newport game unfinished

Tigers coach Garry McCall received a red card with under 15 minutes to play, which forced the game against Mount Royal to be called early because Newport (0-12) did not have an assistant coach at the game.

It is unclear if McCall will be able to coach Friday’s home game against Farmington. Newport athletic director Jeff Miller said Monday night that the red card had been rescinded after the game, per an email from Mount Royal athletic director Andrew Mihaly.
