THETFORD — It took the entire regular season, but Thetford Academy baseball finally had its home opener on the final day of its regular season, defeating Montpelier, 10-6, on Thursday afternoon.

“We were excited to be playing at home in front of our home fans,” Thetford head coach Phil Chaput said. “It was nice to finally get into our routine at home. The players were all excited.”
