Dartmouth coach Bob Gaudet matched the program record for career wins (308) with the victory.
Hesler finished a Drew O’Connor pass just 2:43 into the contest for the only goal the Big Green (3-2-0) would need. Clark recorded 31 saves for the clean sheet, which Dartmouth backed with a pair of late empty-net goals from Will Graber and Quin Foreman.
Dartmouth hosts Vermont on Nov. 24.

Nine different players had at least one try for Dartmouth, with senior Camille Johnson, sophomore Marin Pennell and freshman Ale Ada each providing two. Johnson led the way with 25 points from two tries, one penalty kick and six conversions. Ada opened the scoring just 49 seconds into the contest, igniting a run of seven Dartmouth trips into the try zone in the game’s first 17 minutes.
Dartmouth will host both NIRA semifinals later this week. The Big Green will entertain either Norwich or Army on Friday at noon, where a victory would send Dartmouth into the national championship match on Sunday back at Brophy.
Dartmouth 4, Brown 1
Hanover
Daniel Schiller scored Brown’s only goal in the fifth minute on the visitors’ first shot. It was all Big Green after that, as Eduvie Ikoba scored twice on a pair of feeds from Yima Asom. Max Heffron and Braden Salvati also struck twine for Dartmouth, which finished third in the league standings behind Princeton and Columbia.
The Big Green learns its NCAA fate, if any, on Monday.
Dartmouth 2, RIT 2
Hanover
Senior goaltender Christine Honor finished with 25 saves, and Tess Bracken, Megan Cornell and Sara McClanahan all posted assists for Dartmouth. Falzone erased a 1-0 RIT lead with her second-period goal, and Puddifant repeated the comeback feat in the third.
The Big Green is off until a two-game visit to Maine on Nov. 24-25.
CSC 74, SUNY-Delhi 47

Tianna Sugars also posted big numbers for the Chargers, producing team highs of 18 points and 16 rebounds. Kristen Donaghy (12 points) and ex-Lebanon High standout Joslin Wainwright (10 points) also hit for double figures.
Princeton 3, Dartmouth 0

Junior Abby Kott and sophomore Elise Petit both had six kills for Dartmouth. Petit also added five digs and two total blocks to lead the team with 7.5 points.
Dartmouth Opens Season

Mia Leko led the way for Dartmouth, winning the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.99), the 200 butterfly (2:01.58) and the 500 free (5:03.29). MacKenzie Stumpf added a victory in the 100 breastroke (1:04.11), with teammate Maggie Deppe-Walker placing third (1:06.34). Stumpf later added a second win in the 200 breast (2:21.06), with Deppe-Walker taking third again (2:24.33). Sarah Minnigh (1,000 free) and Connie Zhang (100 backstroke) also added third-place points for Dartmouth. The Big Green won the meet by nipping Cornell at the wall in the 400 free relay by .32 seconds.
The Big Green dropped the other half of its dual with Harvard, 186-114.
■ The Dartmouth men fell in Friday’s season debut to Harvard (210-83) and host Cornell (199-99). Connor LaMastra had the best day for Dartmouth, finishing in the top four in all three of his individual events: second in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.84) and 200-yard fly (1:50.13) and fourth in the 500-yard free (4:39.49).
Trio at New Englands
Manchester
Trummel finished the course in 20 minutes, 23.7 seconds. The senior ran a time of 20:21.1 at Derryfield two weeks ago to help the Hanover girls to fifth place at the NHIAA Division II state meet. She qualified for New Englands in all four of her varsity years at Hanover.
Two Upper Valley boys also raced in their 258-athlete field. Thetford’s Owen Deffner claimed 122nd place in 17:34.0, and Woodstock’s Riley Shepherd was 140th (17:45.2).

Meriden
Wyatt Intrator provided the Wildcats’ other goal as the hosts clinched the Lakes Region League title for the fourth consecutive year. The NEPSAC tournament fields will be announced today, with quarterfinal tournament openers set for Wednesday.
