SOUTH ROYALTON, VT — Lillian (Flint) Orr Williamson, 93 of South Royalton, passed away on August 21, 2019 at Menig in Randolph.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, August 25 at Broad Brook Cemetery in Sharon, VT with the Pastor Josh Moore of the Red Door Church officiating.

Lillian was born in South Royalton, VT to Mark and Vera Flint on May 11, 1926. She went to school in South Royalton and earned a high school diploma. She worked as a telephone operator for NETT MA Bell for over forty years. Serving the Lord and being involved in the local church was important to her. Most recently she attended the Miller Methodist Church in Bethel and the Red Door Church in South Royalton.

Throughout her life Lillian enjoyed making delicious meals and desserts. After retiring Lillian enjoyed her pet cats and feeding the birds and squirrels. She also was a great gardener and had beautiful flower gardens. She loved being outdoors and into her ninety-second year she was still walking a mile a day.

Lillian is preceded in death by Edward Williamson, her husband for over 30 years.

She is survived by her four children: Terry Orr, Pam Hull, Sharon Heitz (Rex) and Jerome (Duffy) Orr (Linda); eight grandchildren: Tobin Orr, Courtney Towns, Chris Hull, Joanna Hull, Alexis Hull, Taylor Heitz-Smith, Jesse Orr, Kaleb Orr, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Upper Valley Humane Society at 300 Old Route 10, Enfield, NH 03748.

Lillian’s family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at Riverbend Residential Care in Chelsea, Berlin Rehab, and Menig Nursing Home in Randolph.
