Elroy “Lee” Litchfield, Sr.

WHITE RIVER JCT., VT — Elroy “Lee” Litchfield, Sr., 67, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in White River Jct., VT from medical complications. He was born August 2, 1952 in Randolph, VT, one of five children born to Henry and Virginia (Howard) Litchfield.

He served in the US Army during Vietnam. Lee loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, the beach, riding four wheelers and playing mini golf. Even though he suffered through many years of addiction Lee finished high school, worked for Bombardier, Capital Candy, and most recently the VA Hospital until he retired and also had six wonderful children.

Lee will be remembered as someone who would do his best to help anyone that needed it.

He was predeceased by his parents, two sons, Elroy Lee Litchfield, Jr., and Henry Litchfield, two brothers, Rolfe “Mike” Litchfield, Raymond Litchfield, nephews, Henry Litchfield and Joe Huntley.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Tillotson) Litchfield of West Topsham, VT, a son, Philip Litchfield of Minerva, Ohio, three daughters, Brandie Litchfield of Barre, VT, Charlie Mae Otis of East Barre, VT, Tasha White of Charlottesville, VA, two step daughters, Kayley Sicely and Lizzie Sicely both of West Topsham, VT, his grandsons, Anthony, Colby, Atticus, and Marley, his granddaughters, CJ, Katie, Ciel May, Emma, Cheyenne, and Elana. a brother, Duane “Pete” Litchfield of Bethel, VT, a sister Linda (Litchfield) Sheldon of Braintree, VT, and many nieces and nephews.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at the family’s convenience.
