NORTH HAVERHILL, NH — Our beloved Dan went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday evening , December 11, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Dan was born May 21, 1950, in Concord, NH – the son of Victor and Eleanor McFaul. He was a graduate of Concord High School and New England Tractor Trailer Training School in N. Andover, MA. For many years he was an owner-operator and enjoyed his travels exploring our great country.
On June 12, 1971, Dan married Janet (Tracy) McFaul. They made their home in Bow, NH, before moving to Cornish, NH, in 1989, and to North Haverhill, NH, in 2001.
Dan is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Janet; his beautiful daughter, Holly; and three precious, precious grandchildren: Braydan, Jaykan and Hadley. Dan loved every moment he shared with his grandchildren, singing gospel while playing guitar, golfing with friends and family, watching the Patriots and professional golf. Dan always stayed true to himself and those he dearly loved. He was predeceased by his parents.
We give special thanks for the outstanding care Dan received from Dr. Sarah Young-Xu, the many “teams” at DHMC and the dedicated medical staff at Fresenius Medical Care. God Bless these wonderful caregivers.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 6, 2019, 3 p.m., at Trinity Church of the Nazarene in North Haverhill, NH, with Rev. George Hemway officiating.
Contributions may be made in Dan’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY, 10016, or to Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care at D-H/Geisel Office of Development, Attn: Jason Naugler, One Medical Center Drive, HB 7070, Lebanon, NH, 03756-0001.
