Constance Hopkins Snow Klefos

HANOVER, NH — Connie Klefos, 96 passed away peacefully in her own home Tuesday, September 10, 2019. She lived with her daughter Susan and 3 grandchildren Katherine, Elizabeth and Spencer. Connie was born in Rochester, NH, to the late Katherine Hartley and General Conrad E. Snow. She graduated from Skidmore College with a Bachelor’s degree from the School of Nursing in 1945. After several nursing positions, Connie worked as the school nurse at Hanover High and the Hanover Middle School for more than 20 years. She finished her career working for the VNA at age 88. She and her husband Brede S. Klefos had 6 children. After the passing of her husband in 1960, Connie raised her family on her own. She and the family have enjoyed the summers at Lake Winnipesaukee each year dating all the way back to 1954. She had a love for skiing and golfing with her family and friends.

Connie is survived by her sister Katherine Ann; brother Richard; sons, Conrad E. and wife Lisa, Erik S. and wife Dawn, Brede C., Knute H. and wife Joan; daughter Susan A.; and grandchildren Spencer, Katherine, Elizabeth, Brian, Katelyn, Kara, Syver; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Brede S. Klefos; her son Kristofer Robin, his son Garrett S., and his wife, Lauri.

Connie approached every day with a smile and an amazing love for life and family. She remained a positive and loving presence throughout her entire life, impacting so many. She will forever be loved and missed.

A service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019, at 1:30 at the Norwich Congregational Church, Norwich, Vt. A reception to follow at the church.

A burial at the Lakeview Cemetery in Wolfeboro, NH, will take place on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at 1:30 for family and close friends.
