Axle rows through Connecticut River cleanup

  • Hypertherm employees Sam Cawley, of Lebanon, N.H., left, James Mudie, his wife Amanda Mudie, of New London, N.H., and Cynthia Chapin, of Lebanon, pull trash and junk out of the Connecticut River on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, in Cornish, N.H. Working with the Connecticut River Conservancy, employees from Hypertherm were doing a day of service along the river in their September Source to Sea River Cleanup. Balanced on the Mudie's canoe is a vehicle axle, which took the couple two hours to remove from the mud along the river bank. (Valley News - Jennifer Hauck) Copyright Valley News.
