Town Meeting preview: Assessing position up for vote in Woodstock

Contested races: There are no contested races.

Budgets and spending articles: The proposed budget is $7.68 million, of which $5.69 million is slated to come from taxes. Last year, voters approved a budget of $7.03 million, of which $5.4 million was to come from taxes, according to Valley News reporting at the time. The proposed sewer budget is $1.21 million, of which $1.19 million is slated to come from user fees. 

When, where and how to vote: Woodstock's Town Meeting is scheduled to take place on March 4 at 10 a.m. at the Town Hall Theatre. Australian ballot voting will take place on March 7 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
