Town Meeting: Windsor voters agree to $1 million for municipal buildings

WINDSOR — In Town Meeting Day ballot voting, Windsor voters easily passed a municipal budget and $1 million to be financed over 20 years or less for upgrading and repairing municipal buildings.

The budget is $6.05 million, of which $4.27 million is expected to be raised by taxes. That’s up from last year, when voters approved a budget of $5.74 million, according to Valley News reporting at the time.

Emma Caffrey beat Tom Demasi for a two-year seat on the Selectboard in a 278-130 vote.

In an uncontested race, Jeffrey Johnson won a three-year term on the board.
