WINDSOR — Windsor High School 10th grader Hudson Ranney, right, reads a statement asking political leaders to take action to prevent gun violence before leading his Windsor High School classmates on a march through Windsor on Friday. The walkout was planned as part of a nationwide student response to the shooting that killed six at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tenn., on March 27. “I hope that legislators, locally and nationally, from both sides of the aisle see that we need to work on these issues,” said Ranney. Students walked a mile-and-a-half through town to protest gun violence.
