Three win Democratic primary for Windsor Senate seats

WOODSTOCK — Three Democrats earned the party’s nomination to the three state Senate seats representing Windsor County in voting on Tuesday.

State Rep. Becca White, of Hartford, was the top vote getter in the race, earning 11,249 votes, according to Associated Press estimates via Vermont Public. Meanwhile, incumbents Alison Clarkson, of Woodstock, and Dick McCormack, of Bethel, earned 11,206 and 10,031, respectively.

Christopher Morrow, of Weston, earned 3,441 votes in spite of having dropped out of the race. 

The three winners will face Republicans Dana Colson, of Sharon, and Alice Flanders, of Hartford, in the November general election.
