Budgets and spending articles: The proposed budget is $12.97 million. If approved, it is expected to result in education spending of $20,581 per equalized pupil, which is about 6% higher than the current year.

When, where and how to vote: The annual meeting for the White River Valley Unified School District is scheduled to be held on March 6 at 6 p.m. on the Royalton campus, 223 South Windsor Street, South Royalton. School board members will be elected by Australian ballot on March 7. Polls, for Bethel voters at Bethel Elementary School, 273 Pleasant Street, and for Royalton voters at the Royalton campus will be open from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
