WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — The White River Junction VA Medical Center is scheduled to host a PACT Act claims and eligibility assistance event on March 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the VA Medical Center’s Freedom Building.

The event will offer Veterans Benefits Administration claim assistance, Veterans Health Administration eligibility support and toxic exposure screenings.

It comes following the enactment last August of the Sgt. 1st Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics, or PACT, Act of 2022, which expands VA health care and benefits for veterans exposed to burn pits and other toxic substances.

Registration for the event is not required, but encouraged. More information is online at: https://bit.ly/3n8m3sq.

More information about the PACT Act is available online at VA.gov/PACT or by calling 1-800-MY-VA-411.
