Budgets and spending articles: The proposed budget of $2.6 million, includes $966,000 for the general fund and $1.55 million for the highway fund, as well as $79,000 for the library and $8,000 for the cemetery. Of the total budget, $2.02 million is to come from taxes. The proposed fire department appropriation is $98,000.
