WEST FAIRLEE — Voters approved all articles as warned at Saturday’s floor meeting.

Of West Fairlee’s 521 registered voters, there were 31 present at the meeting, Town Clerk Staci Sargent said in a Tuesday email. That puts turnout at 6%.

Among the items voters approved was an increase in the annual stipend for Selectboard members to $1,200 and an additional $200 to the chair.

Voters also approved a requested appropriation of $82,500 for the West Fairlee Volunteer Fire Department, which was up from $66,000 last year.

In ballot voting on Tuesday, voters approved a municipal operating budget of $917,000, with $808,000 to be raise from taxes. In uncontested races, voters elected Bree Carlson to a one-year term on the Selectboard, Delsie Hoyt to a two-year term and Stuart “Tiger” Bacon to a three-year term.
