Piermont — Lindsay Anne Green and Dimitrious Gavrielidis were married on July 16, 2017, at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church in Roslindale, Mass.

Emily Fullerton-Diez was the maid of honor. Hannah Traggis, Elisabeth Hodgdon and Maria Peidis were the bridesmaids. Sofacles Gavrielidis was the best man and Marios Zisou was the usher. Maggie Fullerton was the flower girl. A reception followed at Tower Hill Botanic Gardens in Boylston, Mass. 

The bride is the daughter of Marilyn Cox Green and William E. Green IV, of Piermont. She graduated from Woodsville High School in 2004 and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2008 and a master’s degree in marine sciences in 2011 from Northeastern University in Boston. She earned a doctorate in plant biology from the University of New Hampshire in 2014 and is employed as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, R.I.

The bridegroom is the son of Sophia and George Gavrielidis, of Falmouth, Mass. He graduated from Falmouth High School in 2003 and earned a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from Northeastern University in 2007. He is employed as a business and financial associate at TJX Corp. in Boston.

The couple plan a honeymoon in Greece and live in Providence, R.I.
