Hanover — Laura Brentrup and Keith Ratel were married on Aug. 4, 2018, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Hanover.

Father Brian Mulchay officiated at the ceremony. Jennifer Brentrup was the maid of honor. Liza Santulli, Casey Claude, Veronica Snyder, Sarah Naiman and Liane Arter were the bridesmaids. Jonathan Ratel was the best man. Corey Langley, Ian Cleaves, Gregory Brentrup, Chris Struck and Brandon Strong were the groomsmen. A reception followed at McLane Lodge in Lyme.

The bride is the daughter of Maureen and Robert Brentrup, of Hanover. She graduated from Hanover High School in 2008 and earned a bachelor’s degree in studio art and communications from Elon University in Elon, N.C., in 2012. She earned a master’s degree in visual art from Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass., in 2018 and is employed as the senior administrative assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management in Cambridge.

The bridegroom is the son of Bernadette and Robert Ratel, of Piermont. He graduated from Thetford Academy in 2008 and earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management and event management from Johnson and Wales University in North Miami, Fla. He is employed as the program operations assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management in Cambridge.

The couple live in Cambridge.
