WEATHERSFIELD — Voters approved all articles on the school warning at the polls on Tuesday.

In uncontested races, they elected Sara Steele to a three-year term on the Weathersfield School Board. Mark Yuenling and Deborah Richardson earned one-year terms on the board.

They approved, 189-139, an operating budget of $8.4 million, which is up from $7.5 million last year. The board had initially warned a budget of $8.8 million in January, but later rescinded it in order to make spending cuts.

They also approved an article to apply $100,000 of last year’s surplus to the capital reserve fund.

Weathersfield has 2,515 voters on the checklist.
