Wanda Mae (Hosmer) Sanville

South Royalton, Vt. — Wanda Mae (Hosmer) Sanville, 48 died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at her home in South Royalton, Vt. She was born July 22, 1969 in Berlin, Vt., the daughter of Shirley (Moses) Hosmer.

She attended Vershire Elementary School in Vershire, Vt., Tunbridge Central School in Tunbridge, Vt. and later Thetford Academy in Thetford, Vt. She had been married to Fred “Skip” Dunham and Henry Stanley. Both marriages later ended in divorce. She had lived in Sharon, Vt. before moving to South Royalton, where she has lived for many years.

She had a great love of animals and had many at her farm. She would do anything for her animals or for someone in need of her help.

She is survived by a sister, Tina Swasey of South Royalton, Vt., Three brothers, Todd Hosmer and Stuart Coburn, Jr. both of Corinth, Vt. and Peter Hosmer of Tunbridge, Vt. and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother Shirley and her uncles Richard Moses and Tony Shute.

Calling hours will be held, Friday, March 16, 2018 at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Boardway & Cilley Funeral Home, 300 VT RT 110, Chelsea, VT. A funeral service will be held, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the United Church of South Royalton in South Royalton, Vt. Burial will be later this spring in the Strafford Cemetery in Strafford, Vt.
