The four-town Windsor-Orange 2 district has voted overwhelmingly to send two experienced Montpelier hands to the state House.
Jim Masland, D-Thetford, and Rebecca Holcombe, D-Norwich, earned 3,817 and 3,921 votes, respectively. They outdistanced Republicans Bill Huff and Matt Stralka, who received 885 and 618 votes, respectively.
Masland, who has served in the House since 1998, and Holcombe, who was state education secretary from 2014 to 2018, will serve the district, which comprises Norwich, Sharon, Strafford and Thetford, when the Legislature reconvenes in January.
