VINS Adds 3 to Its Board of Trustees

Quechee — The Vermont Institute of Natural Science in Quechee has named three new trustees to the board of directors.

Dr. Richard Ferrell is a collaborative care psychiatric consultant in general internal medicine and gastroenterology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.

He is chair of the board of trustees to the American Neuropsychiatric Association: ANPA Global Health Initiative Task Force and is the associate editor of The Journal of Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences.

Ferrell, who lives in Norwich, has been a coach for girls’ developmental basketball in Norwich-Hanover area.

In 2015, he received the Hanover Parks and Recreation Board Annual Volunteer Service Award.

Ronald Paprocki, of Quechee, retired in 2016 as the University of Rochester’s chief financial and administrative officer, a role in which he oversaw university offices related to budgeting and planning.

Paprocki worked for the university for 46 years. He graduated from the University of Rochester and has a master’s degree in business administration from the university’s William E. Simon School of Business.

Tom Weschler is the president of Woodstock-based Strategic Consulting Inc.

He is the former president of the food and environmental division at Idexx Laboratories. Weschler received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Villanova University and graduated from Harvard Business School.

He has lived in Woodstock for 20 years and has served as a board member at Pentangle Arts, Woodstock Union High School and Middle School and the Thompson Senior Center.
