WOODSTOCK — The Vermont Foodbank’s VeggieVanGo program will make its first stop in the Woodstock Union Middle/High School parking lot this week.

The program offers free fruits and vegetables for those who cannot afford to buy enough produce to meet their needs. Participants will not be asked questions related to income.

The stop will take place on the first Thursday of each month at 9:15 a.m. at the Union Arena Rink end of parking lot.

Elsewhere in the Upper Valley, the program also makes regular stops at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph, Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, Springfield (Vt.) Medical Care Systems and the White River Junction VA Medical Center, according to the foodbank’s website.
