CLAREMONT

Veterans Day ceremony and luncheon: Monday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m. Broad Street Park. Short ceremony followed by free luncheon for veterans at American Legion Post 29, 119 Broad St. Family members can attend lunch by donation. 603-542-9222.

HARTFORD

Veterans Day wreath laying ceremonies: A short ceremony with a firing squad and wreath laying begins at Maple Street Cemetery, off Route 14, at 10:30 a.m. Then, a group will go to the Hartford Municipal Building, to lay a wreath, followed by a visit Veterans Park to lay a wreath. They will toss a bouquet off Lehman Bridge into the White River at 11 a.m., and then return to Veterans Park for a ceremony at the new WWI and WWII monuments. 603-369-0329.

HANOVER

Armistice Day Bell Ringing: Monday, Nov. 11, 11 to 11:15 a.m. and 4:45 to 5 p.m. Dartmouth Green, 1 E. Wheelock St. The Baker Bells will chime five military hymns, one for each branch. dartmouth.edu/veterans/events.

Dartmouth Veterans Day Retreat and Drill Ceremony: Monday, Nov. 11, 5 to 5:15 p.m. Dartmouth Green, 1 E. Wheelock St. Dartmouth ROTC members will conduct the ceremony. dartmouth.edu/veterans/events.

LEBANON

Veterans Day ceremony: Monday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m. Parade around Colburn Park (51 N. Park St.), followed by ceremonies. Hosted by American Legion Post 22. More information: 603-448-3429.

ORFORD

Veterans Day ceremony: Monday, Nov. 11, 11:30 a.m. at the Orford Congregational Church, 617 Route 10 (Main Street). Celebrate and honor Orford’s veterans, and remember John O’Brien.
