Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity seeks new director

LEBANON — Affordable housing nonprofit Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity is seeking a new executive director to replace Eva Loomis, who recently announced plans to leave the organization at the end of June. 

Loomis, who served six years as director, called her time at the organization a “privilege and honor” and thanked the numerous volunteers, partner families and supporters for helping to create enriching experiences and learning opportunities. 

“The scores of selfless, generous, and compassionate people who come together to make Habitat a vibrant and thriving part of our community are truly the heart and soul of our organization and I am so blessed to have been a part of this magic,” Loomis said in a written statement.

Last month Upper Valley Habitat completed the Harrington-Laundry home, a single-level three-bedroom house for Lebanon couple William Harrington and Krystal Laundry and their three sons. 

The organization is currently planning to build a multi-unit residential complex in Weathersfield on land acquired last October. 

Upper Valley Habitat is currently accepting resumes for the director opening and will be interviewing applicants on a rolling basis. A copy of the job description and application process is available online at Upper Valley Habitat’s website: uvhabitat.org.
