State Rep. Jeffrey Greeson, R-Wentworth has held onto the Grafton 6 district seat, fending off a challenge from Orford Democrate Craig Tomlinson.

Greeson won by large margins in Wentworth and Rumney (307-184 and 462-308, respectively), offsetting a lopsided win for Tomlinson in Orford, 410-237.

The overall vote count was 1,006-902 in Greeson’s favor.

Tomlinson, 71, was a first-time candidate, running in a district reshaped since 2020. Greeson, 51, won the old district by a narrow margin in 2020 and will begin his second term when the Legislature reconvenes in January.
