Palmer defeats Drye for House seat representing Cornish and Plainfield

Dr. William Palmer, a Cornish Democrat making his first run for statewide office, defeated three-time New Hampshire House candidate, Plainfield Republican Virginia Drye, 1380-903, for the Sullivan 2 House district representing Cornish and Plainfield.

Palmer, 66, who works part-time as an internal medicine specialist at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, won in Cornish, 523-414 and Plainfield, 857-489. Drye, 23, also ran for the House in 2018 and 2020.
