Two injured in Claremont motorcycle accident

CLAREMONT — Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident on Main Street in Claremont on Thursday afternoon, according to a news release from the fire department. 

The city’s fire and police departments, as well as Golden Cross Ambulance, responded to a call at about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, and arrived at 599 Main St. to find two people in the roadway.

Both patients required ambulance transportation for further treatment. One patient went to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, and the other to Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont. Those involved were not named in the release.

The Claremont Police Department is investigating the accident.
