LEBANON — The Lebanon School District on Friday announced two finalists for the post of superintendent beginning July 1.

The finalists selected by the Superintendent Search Committee are: Amy Allen, assistant superintendent of the Manchester School District, and Brian Campbell, assistant superintendent of SAU 29, which includes Keene and six other school districts.

The committee included Lebanon School District staff, board members, a student representative and a community member representative. The Bryan Group Resources, a consulting firm that specializes in hiring practices, aided in the selection process.

Opportunities to meet the candidates are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday. One candidate will visit the district each day, meeting with staff and students in each school, and then with the community from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Lebanon Middle School. The candidates also will have final interviews with the Lebanon School Board.

The board anticipates that the new superintendent, slated to replace Joanne Roberts who is leaving at the end of the school year, will be announced before the first week of March.
