Republican John Sellers, of Bristol, N.H., narrowly beat Bridgewater, N.H. Democrat Carolyn Fluehr-Lobban for the Grafton District 18 House seat representing a “floterial district,” created in 2022 as part of New Hampshire’s redistricting, which includes Mascoma Valley towns.
Sellers earned 4,223 votes to Fluehr-Lobban’s 4,188, according to results provided by the 10 towns’ clerks.
The district includes the Upper Valley towns of Canaan, Dorchester, Enfield, Grafton and Orange, as well as Alexandria, Bridgewater, Bristol, Groton and Hebron.
