Berlin, N.H. — Regan Pride has joined the senior management team as chief operating officer at Tri-County Community Action Program Inc.

The nonprofit organization assists residents of Grafton, Carroll and Coos counties with health, utility and transportation services, among other programs.

Pride is originally from Los Angeles, where he studied mechanical engineering at the University of California at Berkeley. He also holds a certificate in public management from the New Hampshire Bureau of Education and Training. His work experience includes aerospace engineering, manufacturing design, municipal management, public education and community planning. He served as town administrator in Lisbon, N.H., a planner at North Country Council, an adjunct instructor in the New Hampshire Community College System and a technology specialist with SAU 35 in Littleton, N.H. Pride also has served on several boards and committees, including the Lisbon Selectboard, the North Country Council Board of Directors, the Grafton-Coos Regional (Transit) Coordinating Council and the Lisbon Main Street Organization.

“(Regan’s) background in engineering, coupled with his knowledge of grant funded programs and community based problem-solving makes him the ideal candidate to fill this position,” Jeanne Robillard, Tri-County’s CEO, said in a news release. “Regan brings extensive experience in fiscal oversight, public administration, and community planning to the senior management team of TCCAP.”

Pride said that in his previous roles he worked closely with community action programs and saw their benefit first hand.

“Community Action Programs represent the best in supporting healthy vibrant communities,” he said. “At this stage of my career, using my skills and expertise giving back to the community is an honor. I look forward to working with the TCCAP staff and our community partners to improve our internal operations and enhance TCCAP’s capacity to better serve our clients.”
