HARTLAND — The incumbents appear poised to keep their seats representing Hartland-area towns in the Vermont State House after fending off a challenge in Tuesday’s primary.
State Reps. John Bartholomew, of Hartland, and Elizabeth Burrows, of West Windsor, earned 918 and 917 votes, respectively on Tuesday, while their challenger former state Rep. Paul Belaski, of Windsor, earned 599.
No Republicans have filed to represent the Windsor-1 District, which includes Hartland, Windsor and West Windsor, in the Vermont State House.
