Town Meeting: Web developer wins in contest for Thetford Selectboard

THETFORD — Residents approved a proposed school budget of $8.6 million on a 373-176 tally in Australian ballot voting on Tuesday.

Freelance web developer Nick Clark defeated retired firefighter David Goodrich for a seat on the Selectboard, 319-213. Selectboard Chairman Stuart Rogers and Michael Pomeroy also were elected to new terms.

Shannon Darrah and Megan Snider won school director seats.

Voters at the floor portion of Town Meeting on Saturday approved a total of $2.74 million in municipal spending.
