Town Meeting: Thetford voters approve school budget

THETFORD — In ballot voting on Tuesday, Thetford voters approved the school budget and elected officials in uncontested races.

The school district budget voters approved, 262-68, is $9.34 million, which was up from a nearly $8.8 million school budget voters approved last year.

Jeff Jamele was elected to a three-year term on the School Board and Mary Chin earned a two-year term on the board.

On the municipal side, Sharon Harkay was elected to a three-year term on the Selectboard and Steven Tofel earned a two-year term on the board.
