Article of note: At both town and school meetings, voters will be asked if they want to change the format of Town Meeting and move from floor voting to Australian ballot voting for electing town officers, adopting budget articles and voting on public questions.

Contested races: Town officers, including three Selectboard members, are to be elected from the floor at Town Meeting. Three School Board members are to be elected from the floor during the school meeting.

Last year, voters approved a $1.15 million municipal operating budget and a $3.5 million school budget, according to Valley News reporting at the time.

When, where and how to vote: On Tuesday, March 7, Strafford is scheduled to hold its annual school meeting at 9 a.m. and Town Meeting at 1 p.m. at the Town House.
