Mt. Royal Graduates 10, With Four Joining Military

Sunapee — Mount Royal Academy held its graduation ceremony Saturday morning, with four out of the 10 graduating seniors heading to military service.

Headmaster Derek Tremblay thanked his predecessor, David Thibault, for his family’s contributions to the school as the former headmaster’s son, Peter, graduated. Peter Thibault was given the the Semper Altius award, the highest honor given to a senior.

Keynote speaker Scott Sollom, an assistant professor of theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville, urged the new graduates to sacrifice their lives to God and for others.
