Secondary accomplishments

Felix Kreis, of Norwich, was named a commended scholar for the fall 2023 at Mercersburg Academy, a preparatory school in Mercersburg, Pa.

Scholarship opportunities

The Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Commission is accepting applicants for its scholarship program, which is open to high school seniors in the commission’s 30-town area who will be pursuing higher education and career programs, according to a news release from the Woodstock-based nonprofit organization. Post-secondary graduations

Alex Baker, of New London, graduated with an associate of arts degree from University of Maryland Global Campus in fall 2023.

Daisy Johnson, of Hartland, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from University of Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences in Lexington in December 2023.

Post-secondary accomplishments

Lilly Clapp, of Hanover, made the dean’s list at Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y., for the fall 2023 semester. Clapp also earned an “Invest in Success Scholarship.”

Augustus Byrne, of Chelsea, made the president’s list at Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y., for the fall 2023 semester.

Grant Woods, of Norwich, who is studying English at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, made the dean’s list for the fall 2023 semester.

Deondra Goodspeed, of Bradford, Vt., made the dean’s list at Rivier University in Nashua, N.H., for the fall 2023 semester.
