Secondary accomplishments

Hannah Giguere has been named Lebanon High School’s January student of the month. Giguere, a senior, spends half of her school day at Lebanon High School and the other half studying forestry in the natural resources program at the Hartford Area Career & Technology Center, according to a news release from the Lebanon School District. This summer, she will represent New Hampshire at a bass fishing tournament in Florida.

“She is the most genuine, warm-hearted, and selfless person I have taught in a long time,” Lebanon High English and social studies teacher Will Connell said in the release.

Post-secondary graduations

Allison Riley, of Newport, and Amanda Alice, of Randolph, earned bachelor’s degrees in natural resource conservation & management from Paul Smith’s College in Paul Smiths, N.Y., in Dec. 2024.

Post-secondary accomplishments

The following Upper Valley residents made the dean’s list at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for the fall 2024 semester: Emma Dunbar, Hanover; Maggie Keeffe, Hanover; and Pierce Seigne, Norwich.

Esme Krauthamer, of Strafford, made the dean’s honor list at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for the fall 2024 semester.

Kathryn Gasparro, of Lebanon, made the dean’s list at Northeastern University in Boston for the fall 2024 semester.

Jack Loftus, of Hanover, made dean’s list at Western New England University in Springfield, Mass., for the fall 2024 semester.

The following Upper Valley residents were named to honors lists at Husson University in Bangor, Maine, for the spring 2024 semester: Grace Belmont, Windsor, honors, biology & biochemistry; Isabelle Bicknell, Claremont, president’s list, healthcare administration & public health, occupational therapy; Grace Gardner, Wilder, president’s list, elementary education; Lauren Keefe, Grantham, dean’s list, forensic science; Haley Landry, Claremont, dean’s list, criminal justice; Kameryn Landry, Claremont, honors, health sciences & pharmacy; Emily Moulton, Canaan, president’s list, exercise science & physical therapy; Gillian Nichols, West Lebanon, president’s list, audio engineering & music production; and Johanna Roth, Sunapee, dean’s list, nursing.

Michelle Edlund, of East Randolph, made the dean’s list at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo., for the fall 2024 semester.

Gretl Josselyn, of White River Junction, made the dean’s list at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Conn., for the fall 2024 semester.

Caroline Hamilton, of White River Junction, earned Liberty League All-Academic honors at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. Hamilton is studying biomedical sciences and is a member of the Saints Field Hockey team.

Ann Moore, of Newport, made the dean’s list at Elmhurst University in Elmhurst, Ill., for the fall 2024 semester.

Justice Bassette, of Hartland, made the dean’s list at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, for the fall 2024 semester.
